China’s legislative body, the National People’s Congress, has voted overwhelmingly to remove presidential term limits from its constitution, giving President Xi Jinping “the right to remain in office indefinitely.” The vote was widely regarded as a rubber-stamping exercise. Two delegates voted against the change and three abstained, out of 2,964 votes.

Immediately after Amazon acquired Whole Foods in 2017, Walmart announced to acquire online men’s fashion retailer Bonobos for $310 million. Walmart even changed its official name from ‘Wal-Mart Stores’ to ‘Walmart’, reflecting its increase emphasis on e-commerce.

The Walt Disney Co. has recently announced that it had reached a $52.4 billion deal to acquire the bulk of 21st Century Fox assets. The Disney-Fox deal will also give Disney a majority control of the video streaming service Hulu. Some of the classics 20th Century Fox movie studio has produced include Titanic, the original Star Wars film, and Alien. After this deal goes through, Disney will own the rights to every Star Wars.
